This week marked a new milestone: All tiles just outside the first floor apartment has been layed.
This include tiles on the backyard canopy, the street side balcony, the outdoor bathroom and the washing area.
It is a lot to take in once the tiles get down, because after month of laying the ground work, the cosmetics of the tiles makes it look like significant progress in little time.

Besides the outdoor walking tiles, the wall tiles (azulejos as I have learned they are called in Portuguese, as opposed to the tiles you walk that is called something different entirely) on the outdoor bathroom is also done.
